Coalesce Welcomes Mini-Midtvedt

Posted by coalescemarketing on May 21, 2010

In the spirit of nurturing and furthering the education and development of today’s youth, Coalesce was happy to meet our assistant creative director’s daughter, Ellie earlier this week during our impromptu “Bring Your Child to Work Day”.

Ellie is nine years old, has a passion for music, art and nature, and follows in her father’s footsteps by experimenting with design programs like Photoshop and InDesign. When she arrived bright and early Tuesday morning, Team Orange put her right to work directing our daily production meeting and drafting new lists of objectives.

After enjoying our day with Ellie, we began to reflect on our own childhood dreams and where we all started. What became of that is this comprehensive list of first jobs, held by the members of Team Orange:

Michelle: Tour guide of a European-style cheese factory

Lisa: Milkwoman

Shauna: Custard scooper

Dana: Gas sniffer at a gas company

Todd: Pickle sweeper at a relish factory

Jess: McDonald’s cashier

Gina: Cherry sorter at a canning factory

Judy: Circuit board assembler

Mike: Lifeguard

As the old saying goes, “In order to know where you’re going, you have to remember where you’ve been.” Well we remember and we’re glad we’ve grown!
